VPbank latest logo and identity X Pencil Group
It was founded in 1993 and has since grown to become one of Vietnam's three largest banks. The bank's goal is to use technology to become the most customer-centric in the sector. The latest brand identity and strategy for VPBank were unveiled in April 2022, after a multi-year repositioning effort by Pencil Group that began in 2020 and continued through epidemic seasons.
For the second time in the company's almost 30-year evolution, VPBank is rebranding itself with the slogan "For a prosperous Vietnam." To represent the brand differentiation strategy of sub-brands and product brands, Pencil Group used the findings from Phase 1 as a criterion for developing the core identity elements, which included clarifying the brand's mission and creating a memorable image.
Along with the new brand statement, besides the two traditional red-green colors with the signature prosperity flower, VPBank's logo has been refined according to the golden ratio and changed to a new font with a more modern style. The harmony between rounded corners and square lines and a brighter, more vibrant blue color symbolizes the connection between people and technology of VPBank.
