In anticipation of Tet 2024, ToCoToCo, a renowned bubble tea brand, embarked on a creative venture with Pulu Studio to develop a seasonal packaging design that would capture the essence of the Vietnamese New Year. This collaboration aimed to intertwine the joyous spirit of Tet with a narrative of renewal and prosperity, deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Vietnam.

The project took inspiration from the enduring legend of "Dragon's Treasure," a tale that resonates across Vietnamese culture as a symbol of power, wealth, and good fortune. It was believed that the coming year would usher in a dragon, heralding a period of unparalleled prosperity and reward for the people's hard work throughout the past year. This mythological element served as the cornerstone of the design philosophy, guiding the creative direction towards something truly emblematic of Vietnamese heritage and the festive season.


Pulu Studio's approach was both innovative and respectful of tradition. By artistically blending the dragon's curvy silhouette with the cylindrical shape of ToCoToCo's bubble tea cups, they crafted a visual metaphor where the dragon was seen as the guardian of the treasured beverage. This design choice did not just elevate the product's aesthetic appeal but also imbued it with a sense of cultural significance and protection. The dragon, symbolizing wealth and prosperity, was depicted as safeguarding the "treasure" within - the beloved ToCoToCo Bubble Tea, making each cup a symbolic vessel of fortune and joy for the Tet celebrations.
